Espoo Steiner School
Case: New Waldorf-style premises
In autumn 2005 Espoo Steiner School moved to new and modern premises in Espoo. The new school building was custom-made for a Steiner/Waldorf School by two Finnish architects.
Our task was to give the schools old website a fresh new layout, define new colours that expressed the new building and bring the "sound" of all written material up-to-date.
Unfortunately, the visuals I designed did not please the client and they choose an outside designers version (that was based on my earlier layout).
The team consisted of me, my fellow copywriter Juuso K., a fellow html programmer, an outside visual designer and the client.
The client is currently pleased with their new website and we have new ongoing projects with them despite some problems in the end.
